Anthem of the Seas arrived in Bar Harbor, Maine on Monday morning, and guests needed to ride a tender to get ashore. Since we only had half a day here and not enough time to explore on our own, I bought tickets in advance for the bus tour offered by Acadia National Park Tours.

I loved seeing the inspirational quotes hung up in the passenger deck hallways.
After breakfast, we got tender tickets and then proceeded ashore.
Bar Harbor was a cute town. We went to Testa's restaurant to pick up the bus tour tickets. It was very easy to find with the lobster sign.

The bus tour was good, with a stop at the top of Cadillac Mountain as well as Thunder Hole. We lucked out with the weather as the sky was blue and clear views all around!

After the tour, it was time for lunch. I found Side Street Cafe on Yelp and we enjoyed a mouthwatering, one and a quarter-pound fresh Maine lobster meal.

We took the tender back to the ship. It was nice that Bar Harbor provided its own boats for the service, so we didn't have to cram into a lifeboat.

Dinner tonight was at Silk, one of four complimentary restaurants, with an Asian theme. The food was all right.

Later that night, the Two70 lounge was broadcasting the first presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The audience was clearly divided, with clapping, shouting, and jeering during the candidates' responses.
Tomorrow, we have a day at sea, followed by a stop in Halifax, Nova Scotia...stay tuned!
